Calvin Sims' Obituary
Calvin Orlander Sims, 75, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, in a local hospital. He was a graduate of Riverside High School class of 1965. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline Sims; brother, Alton Sims; grandmothers, Eldora Magby and Lola Sims; and grandfather, Henry Sims. Survivors include his sons, Calvin Jabar (Deshondra) Sims of Chattanooga, Calvin Rashard Sims, and Darian Sims, both of Atlanta, GA; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Anthony (Donna) Sims of Cleveland, OH; sisters, Irene Eubanks of Chattanooga, Karen Sims of Niagara Falls, NY, and Shelia Sims of Cleveland, OH; aunt, Mary H. Percy of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Pastor Blevins B. Saxton, III will serve as the eulogist.
