Calvin Leon Bush, Jr.'s Obituary
alvin “Chuck” Leon Bush, Jr., 56, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022, in a local hospital. He was a lifelong avid fan, of all things, of science-fiction, and took great pride in his impressive toy collection. Calvin was a 1984 graduate of Brainerd High School. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, S.T. Bush, Lavada Bush, William Pitts, Sr., and Evelyn Mason; father, Calvin Leon Bush, Sr.; brother, Marcus Bush; uncle, William Pitts, Jr.; and his beloved canine companion, Pretty. Survivors include his mother, Jacqueline Bush; sister, Sonya (Marvin) Harris; nephew; Brian (Mauriel) Bush; niece, Ashley (Chris) Studaway of Memphis, TN; several great-nieces; great-nephews; uncles, Harold Bush of Chattanooga and Elston (Reba) Bush of Buffalo, NY; aunts, Barbara Jemison of Buffalo, NY, Beverly Scott, and Rosalyn (James) Carthen, both of Chattanooga; a host of cousins; other relatives; and friends. To those left to cherish his memory, remember that death is that state in which one only exists in the memory of others, which is why it is not an end. No goodbyes, just good memories. Pastor Kelvert Scruggs will be giving words of comfort.
