Caitlin Davidson's Obituary
Caitlin Denise Williams Davidson, age 31, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in a medical facility in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Born on September 14, 1994, Caitlin was the beloved daughter of Daymond Williams and Stephanie Williams. She accepted Christ at an early age, was baptized at Olivet Baptist Church in Chattanooga, and attended Olive Branch Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Her life was anchored by her favorite Scripture, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13), a verse that she carried in her heart and lived out each day.
Caitlin graduated from Red Bank High School in 2012, where she excelled academically and participated as a cheerleader. She began her career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant, demonstrating a strong commitment to caring for others. In 2020, amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and just six weeks after giving birth to her son, Caitlin completed the nursing program at Chattanooga State Community College. Her passion for nursing led her to work at several facilities, including Alexian Brothers and Morning Pointe of Chattanooga, where she was recognized for her compassionate care. In August 2025, Caitlin furthered her education by enrolling at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee, to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
In 2021, Caitlin and her family moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where she continued her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse with All Heart Home Care. She provided in-home care to patients throughout Middle Tennessee and was highly regarded by both her employer and patients. Caitlin exemplified All Heart’s core values of care, compassion, and confidence.
Caitlin was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmothers, Gertrude Newby and Doris Hollis; uncle, Gerald Newby; and her father-in law, Sean Davidson.
Caitlin’s greatest love was for her husband, her children, and her family. Those left to cherish Caitlin’s beloved memory include her devoted husband, Taj Davidson, Murfreesboro, TN; her precious children, Chloe’, Cali, Tristan, and Chyla; her loving mother, Stephanie Williams, Murfreesboro, TN; her devoted father, Daymond (Erica) Williams, Sr., Chattanooga, TN; sister, Tiffany Carter Stewart, Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, Brandon Johnson, Nashville, TN and Daymond (Tatyana) Williams, Jr., Ringgold, GA; TT’s niece and nephews, Ava, Kingston, and Maxwell, Murfreesboro, TN; Major and Legend, Ringgold, GA; grandmother, Elder Sandra Bramlett, Chattanooga, TN; grandparents, Anthony and Minister Doris Waite, Chattanooga, TN; mother-in-law, Chrystal Davidson, Chattanooga, TN; brother-in-law, DeSean Davidson, Chattanooga, TN; aunts, Shawn Bramlett, East Ridge, TN, Shannon Goodwin, and Darchelle Waite of Chattanooga, TN; uncles, Shannon (Kiesha) Bramlett, Chattanooga, TN, Derrick Willams, and Darrell Waite of Chattanooga, TN; great-aunts, Gwen (Tommy) Earvin, Deborah Bramlett, Marcia Newby, Mary Crutcher, all of Chattanooga, TN; and a hosts of cousins, other relatives, friends, co-workers, and the Devine 5 Cohort.
Caitlin will lie-in-state on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the Chapel with Elder Sandra Bramlett as the Eulogist. Burial in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
