Brenda Paulette Taylor's Obituary
Brenda Paulette Taylor, 71, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023. She graduated from Howard High School class of 1970. She attended Edmondson Junior college, where she graduated with her associate degree. Brenda was a member at Hamlett Chapel CME and was a part of the Missionary Society. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charlie (Pauline) Moore; brother, Terry Moore; sisters, Patricia Nard and Carolyn Carmicheal; husband of 51 years, Harold Taylor, Sr. Survivors include sons, Lydell (Kimberly) Moore and Harold (Terrica) Taylor, Jr., both of Chattanooga; daughters, Shawanna (Tommy) Moore and Hollan Chunae Taylor, both of Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Lionel (Margie) Moore of Harriman, TN, and Charlie Moore, Jr. of New Bern, NC; sister, Mary (Donald) Sanderfur; sisters-in-law, Elnora (Roy) Miller of Chattanooga, JoAnn (James) Harris of Rossville, GA, Sandra (Ed) Parker and Jean (Slick) Roberts, both of Chattanooga; aunt, Margarine Cooper of Chattanooga; special niece, Angela (Phillips) Davis; sons-in-love, Demetrius Edwards and Tommy Stewart; best friend, Loretta (Jimmy) Jenkins; a host of other relatives and friends. Brenda will lie-in-state on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the chapel with Pastor Henry McClain as the eulogist. Burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
