Brenda Faye Harris' Obituary
Ms. Brenda Faye Harris, 76, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in Piedmont-Fayetteville hospital in Fayetteville, Georgia. She was a 1967 graduate of Howard High School. Brenda was formerly employed by R.L. Stowe for many years. She was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, George H. Williams, Jr. and Genell Williams-Watts; son, Eric Harris; brothers, Robert E. Williams, Delbert Williams, George H. Williams, III, and Gary L. Williams. Survivors include her son, Michael (Denise) Harris of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Casonya Harris of Fairburn, GA; grandchildren, Marcus Harris of Fairburn, GA, Kimberly (Alan) Roberts of Sheppard AFB TX, and Brittney Harris of Atlanta, GA; her great-grandchildren, Ayden and Kaydence Roberts. She is “Nana” to Bailey and Brooklyn Blanks and Kolin Matthews. She is also survived by her brother, Melvin (Sharon) Williams of Chattanooga; sisters, Janet Williams, Sandra Williams, and Cathy (Ervin) Cousin, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Brenda will lie-in-state on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 12:30-5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 12 noon in the chapel with Pastor Steve Underwood as the Eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
