Brenda Diane Derrick's Obituary
Brenda Diane Derrick, 72, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, in a local hospital. She was a 1968 graduate of Howard High School. She was a member of Rock of Salvation Ministries where she served on the kitchen committee. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Pitts; father, William Derrick; sisters, Doris Zene and Jessie Brooks; one daughter, Dikecha Lewis. Survivors include her sons, Joseph Derrick and Freddie Lewis; daughter, Michelle Taylor (Alfred) Beeman, all of Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Weldon (Fredia) Brooks, Wendell Brooks, and Bobby Brooks; sister, Agnes Simpson; close cousins, Delane Renee Collins and Nathaniel (Jackie) Edwards, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Apostle McGee will be the eulogist.
