Bobby Heard's Obituary
Bobby Heard, 81, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022, in a local hospital. He attended Howard High School. Bobby worked as a Diesel Mechanic for Carta Bus Company for 23 years, where he retired in 1996. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mittie Rene Heard; father, Lorenza Heard; sister, Marilyn Calhoun; and brother, Joe Heard. Survivors include his loving wife, Irene Heard; brothers, Willie Heard and Freddie Heard; sons, Corey (MiMi) Heard, Sr., and Carlos (Andrea) Heard; grandsons, Courtney Heard, Corey (LaQuisha) Heard, Jr. and Maurice Jones, Jr.; granddaughter, Bria Jones; great-grandchildren, Little Miss Camari Heard, Amina and Anavi Sanders; sisters-in-law, Lavonia Heard, Sarah Ford, Dorothy Simmons, and Elizabeth Ford; brother-in law, Charles Ford; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Pastor James Calhoun will serve as the eulogist.
