Blanchie Sims, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, in a local healthcare facility. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Sims; parents, Albert and Annie Lou White; sisters, Doris White, Elizabeth Williams, Daisy White, and Alice (Roosevelt) Mitchell; brothers, Louis White, Walter White, Willie White, Herman (Cora) White, and John Arthur White; nieces, Nathan Pear-Thompson and Thelma Alexander; nephew, James Williams. Survivors include her sister, Elizabeth Evans; nephews, Willie (Tina) Williams, John Williams, Charlie Williams, Nathaniel Williams, Vinson (Janice) White, and Walter (Eleanor) Moore; nieces, Shirley (John) Taylor, Laura Green, Barbara (Darryl) Jones, Yvonne (Charles) Jackson, Mildred Rogen and Janette White; special cousins; Deborah Johnson, Harriet (Larry) McNeal; and other relatives and friends. Pastor Reggie Yates will be giving the words of comfort.
