Beverly F. Baine's Obituary
Beverly F. Baine, 70, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at her residence. She was born on September 29, 1955, in Nashville, Tennessee to Rosie Mae Steverson. She attended East Nashville High School, where she received her high school diploma before furthering her education at McKenzie Community College, earning an Associate’s Degree. Beverly served our country in the United States Army. She received an honorable discharge at the end of her service time. She also worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail handler, from where she retired.
Beverly passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at her residence. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 42 years, Reuben M. Baine; sons, DeJuan Antond (Breanna) Baine, Sr., Marchello (Ayana) Baine, Reuben N. Locks, and Jeremiah Marcell Baine; daughters, Lakeshia (Dink) Baine Arnold, all of Chattanooga, TN, and LaToya A. Bell of Nashville, TN; a host of nieces and nephews, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Beverly will lie-in-state on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. as Eulogist.
