Ms. Betty Lou Wilson's Obituary
Betty Lou Wilson, 86, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 in a local healthcare facility. She was a 1952 graduate of Howard High School and then attended Tennessee A & I State University. Betty retired from Hamilton County Government after 40 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Lou Sharper; sister, Barbara Robinson. Survivors include her son, Taqiyy Mohammed “Phillip Wilson” of Chattanooga; daughters, Phyllis (Marshon) Ballou, Jacqueline O’Neal, both of Chattanooga, and Janet Wilson of Acworth, GA; grandchild, Bettina (Michael) Benson of Marietta, GA; great-grandchild, Chloe Benson; sister, Vivian (Melvin) Young of Huntsville, AL; brother-in-law, James Robinson of Chattanooga; nieces, Romitchus (Tism) Robinson of Decatur, GA, Toria Allen, Tanya Robinson, both of Chattanooga, Michelle Young of Huntsville, AL, Victoria Allen of Nashville, TN, and Jessica (George) Coleman of Huntsville; nephews, Anthony Young of Alpharetta, GA, Keith Young of Seminole, FL, Thomas Williams, and Tyler Williams, both of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends.
