Betty Marie Talley's Obituary
Betty Marie Finley Talley, 69, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, in a Birmingham, Alabama hospital. Betty was a 1971 graduate of Howard High School. She continued her education at Faulkner and Samford University, where she received her Master’s degree. Betty was a member of First Baptist Church Kingston. She was a Registered Nurse for Briarcliff Retirement Home. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Talley, Jr.; mother, Betty Jean Kyle; stepfather, Rev. O’Neal Kyle; father, Howard Eugene Finley, Jr.; and brothers, Charlton Kyle, Sr. and Arnold Kyle. Survivors include her sons, Brandon Eugene Bray, Edward Dewayne Talley, and Jeremie Jamar Talley; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clayton Kyle, Charles Kyle, Brad Finley, and Howard Finley, Jr.; sisters, Ida Leonard, DeLise Vaccino, Zena Battle, and Deloris Collier; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
