Betty Jean Malone's Obituary
Betty Jean Malone, 88, a native of Dalton, GA, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 in a local healthcare facility. She made a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus at a very young age. She retired from Erlanger Hospital after 30 years as a phlebotomist. Betty was preceded in death by husband, Ollie Malone; daughter, Rosita Ansah; son, Claude Mayes; parents, Tommy and Viola Mayes; sister, Marion Odum. Survivors include her son, Anthony Malone of Chattanooga; daughters, Molletta Byrd, Una Malone, Meshell (Robert), Linder, Leetrice (Bobby) King, all of Chattanooga, and Arlean Love of Charlotte, NC; 52 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren, brother, Charles Mayes of Chicago, IL; sister, Linda Faye Phillips of Chattanooga, TN; and a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Pastor John Geeter will serve as the eulogist.
