Bessie Lewis' Obituary
Bessie Lewis, 97, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at her residence. She was a graduate of Howard High class of 1943. Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, James Lewis, Sr.; father, Daniel Jones; mother, Annie Little Jordan. Survivors include her son, Reginald Chivers of Chattanooga; stepsons, Terry Lewis of Knoxville and Larry Lewis of Hendersonville, TN; cousins, Karen Franklin Walton of Chattanooga, Evelyn Franklin, Angela Franklin, and Lisa Franklin, all of Lancaster, CA; other relatives and friends. Brother John R. Taylor Sr. will be giving words of comfort.
