Bernice Cuffee's Obituary
Bernice Rebecca Cuffee, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 in the Hospice Care Center. She was formerly employed by Peninsula General Hospital. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, James Cuffee; father, Elijah Bennett; mother, Annabelle Bennett Matthews; Joe Brooks, Jr.; son-in-law, Arthur Pickett; grandson, Clifton Brooks; great-granddaughter, Darmark McCane. Survivors include long-time companion, Samuel Davis; son, Anthony (Wanda) Brooks of Long Beach, NY; daughters, JoeAnn (Tyrone) King, Marie Pickett, both of Chattanooga; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 18+ great-great-grandchildren; a host of close family and friends.
A memorial service will be Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Cook, Sr. as the eulogist.
