Benjamin Ray Lindsey's Obituary
Benjamin Ray Lindsey, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, in a Murfreesboro, Tennessee hospital. He attended Riverside High School. Benjamin served in the United Staes Army and received an honorable discharge at the end of his service time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Alberta Lindsey; brothers, Albert L. Davenport and Larry D. Lindsey. Survivors include his brother, Theodore Lindsey; sister, Pandora Eady; devoted sister-in-law, Barbara Davenport; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; extended family and friends who will cherish him and the time they shared with him.
Benjamin will lie-in-state on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
