Barbara Ann Summerrow's Obituary
Barbara Ann Summerrow, 73, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at her residence. She was a 1965 graduate of Howard High School. Barbara was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a part of the Women’s Ministry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ardell (Henry) Battle and Clarence Summerrow; brother, Billy Summerrow, Sr.; sisters, Carolyn Cook and Gwendolyn Battle; grandparents, Edward and Annie Forge. Survivors include her daughter, Yolanda (Kevin, Sr.) Howard of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Brandon Steward Walker, Christopher Walker, Kaylon Howard, Jaylon Howard, and Kevin Howard, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Iyonna Walker, Amari Walker, Bryonna Walker, and Kevin Howard, III; brothers, Michael Battle, Jarvis Battle, and Julius Summerrow, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Brenda Forge of Chattanooga and Cynthia (Ervin) Thomas of Rossville, GA; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; devoted friend, Constance Chubbs and many other friends. Pastor Todd Lansden, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
