Barbara Jean Fields' Obituary
Barbara Jean Fields, 67, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, in a local hospital. She was formerly employed by the Clariton Hotel. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Lewis; sister, Eva Mae Moore; son-in-law, Wallace L. Havis; and nephew, Robert Brown. Survivors include her daughters, Jessica Austin and Tracy Austin, both of Chattanooga, TN; 7 grandchildren; brothers, Robert Lee Lewis and Felix Aaron both of Chattanooga; sisters, Eva Mae Moore of Chattanooga, Thresa Brown Croone of Chattanooga, and Phyllis Aaron Ogunbiy of California; son-in-law, Leroy Robinson, III; nephews, Nathaniel Dave and Skylar Woodruff; best friends, Debrah Hambright and Marylenn Jackson; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Barbara will lie-in-state on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Elder Vista Jeffries as the eulogist.
