Barbara Jean Caslin's Obituary
Barbara Jean Caslin, 78, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, in a local hospital. She was born Friday, September 10, 1943, to her parents, Robert Earl and Ruby Lee Blanks, Sr. Barbara received Jesus Christ at an early age and was a faithful servant of the Lord. She spent quality quiet time developing a ventricle relationship with God, a relationship that satisfies Matthew 25:21: “'Well done, good and faithful servant.” Barbara Jean had several interests throughout her life. She loved reading and studying Bible scriptures; spent years preparing meals for daily and family reunion gatherings; and shopping at her favorite store, At Home. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. She also enjoyed spending time socializing with others so she could talk. Talked, Barbara Jean did well and with much humor! Her ability to make a person LOL is a gift that family and friends will miss dearly. Barbara leaves an adoring legacy, daughter, Sharon Blanks; sons, Joseph Blanks, Sylvester Caslin, and Darryl (Celeste) Caslin; sister, Eva (Charles) Hammock, all of Chattanooga, TN; uncle, Abdul Musa-Wir of Harrison, TN; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
