Ayatollah Allen's Obituary
Ayatollah William Allen, 47, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026, in a local hospital, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Ayatollah was born February 24, 1979 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Ayatollah was a funny and outgoing man who never met a stranger. His warm spirit and heart of gold made him loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was deeply devoted to his family and took great pride in being a father and grandfather. His love for his children and grandchildren was unmatched, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
He enjoyed watching the Super Bowl and spending time surrounded by loved ones, creating memories filled with laughter and joy.
Ayatollah was preceded in death by his parents, Teresa Allen and Eugene Alexander Wallace. He leaves to cherish his memory with his loving children: Kava Eady, Taquilla Lewis, and William Lewis; brother, Deatumell Allen; sister, Shanika Allen; cherished grandchildren, Amariuna Eady, Kamari Lewis, Kamora Lewis, and Eternity Lewis; aunts, Wanda Holland and Patricia Lindsey; special family members, Tasha Allen Parks and Brynae Burney; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Ayatollah William Allen will be deeply missed, but his love, laughter, and spirit will live on through all who knew and loved him.
He will lie-in-state on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with Minister Maurice Toney as the Eulogist.
