Arthur Maddox, Jr.'s Obituary
Arthur Maddox, Jr., 72, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Arthur was a member of Thankful Missionary Baptist Church. He operated his own body shop for many years and was employed with Taylor Funeral Home. Arthur was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Sadie Maddox, Sr.; sisters, Elizabeth Russell, Ruby McMath, and Leola Lewis; brother, Joe Maddox; father-in-law, James Burkes. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Maddox; sons, Jerry Harden and Jamar Harden; daughter, Lynn (Robert) Harrigan, all of Chattanooga; three grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Mary) Maddox of Florida and Larry (Mary) Maddox of Springfield, Missouri; sisters, Shirley Maddox of Brooklyn, New York and Betty Fleming of Chicago, IL; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Mack Page will serve as the eulogist. The funeral service will be live streamed.
