Mrs. Armae Rosia Owens' Obituary
Armae Rosia Owens, 56, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, in a local hospital. She was a 1984 graduate of Kirkman High School and attended Chattanooga College. Armae was a member of BibleWay Ministries. She was employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield and worked also as a Substitute Teacher. Armae was preceded in death by her dad, Robert L. Hughes, Jr.; mother, Ruth Frances Isabell; adoptive mother, Debbarrah Gale Davis; grandmother, Rosia Mae Hughes; and father-in-law Walter F. Owens, Sr. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Pastor Walter Owens, Jr.; son, Walter (Bethany) Owens, III; daughters, Shaquanté (Christopher) McDonald and T-La (Brandon) Moore, all of Chattanooga; 8 grandchildren; brother, Robert Hughes, III; sister, Charlie Maude (German Baker) Hughes; aunt, Leola Phelps, all of Chattanooga; mother-in-law, Edra Owens; sisters-in-law, Barbara Owens and Kimberly Owens; brother-in-law, Edward Louis (Benita) Owens; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends. Walter F. Owens, III will be the eulogist.
