Antwuan DeVonte Stokes' Obituary
Antwuan DeVonte’ Stokes, “Big Toe”, 26, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 in Cleveland, Tennessee. He was a former student at several Chattanooga Public Schools including Howard Middle and Howard High School. He also attended Walker Valley in Cleveland. Antwuan was formerly employed by Famous Dave in Chattanooga, Mt. Vernon Warehouse in Summerville, GA, and Q-Cell in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Derenda Walker and Elzia “Roney” Murphy. Survivors include his children, Antwuan McLemore, Ayah Stokes of Rome, GA, Isabella Stokes, and Isaiah Stokes, both of Summerville, GA; father, Jacquez Von (Latres) Stokes, Sr. of Cleveland, TN; mother, Ms. Tara D. Murphy of Chattanooga; grandmothers, Deborah Suttles Bell of Chattanooga and Mrs. Jannie (James) Stokes of Orangeburg, SC; great-grandmother, Annie Walker of Chattanooga; a host of brothers; sisters; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends; much love from the Southside. Pastor Kenneth Simpson will be the eulogist.
