Anthony Thompson's Obituary
Anthony Thompson, 47, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 in a local hospital. He attended Opp High School and also attended Pleasant Hill AME Zion Church. Anthony was employed by P & S Transportation as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Pauline Thompson. Survivors include his significant other of 8 years, LaSaundra Martin; sons, Dreon Bennett of Newnan, GA, William Isaiah Thornton of Atlanta, GA, and Lathan Thompson of Chattanooga; daughters, Labresha (Maurice) Braxton of Enterprise, AL and Avery Thompson of Chattanooga; granddaughters, Londyn Cambre and Jamyha Roper, both of Enterprise; mother, Esther M. Thompson of Opp, AL; brothers, Douglas Thompson, Daniel (Otolyia) Coleman, Alexander (Jerrica) Thompson, Robert (Julene) Ball, all of Opp, AL, and Quent Thompson of Biloxi, MS; several nieces, nephews, and cousins and many friends.
