Anthony Maples' Obituary
Anthony Maples, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, at his residence. He attended Howard High School class of 1972. He was preceded in death by his mother, Veanna Bugg Ray; father, Walter Maples; biological father, Bruce W. Kerley; and sister, Valerie Maples Roush. Survivors include his sons, Anthony B. Maples of California, and Barry Maples of Chattanooga; one daughter, Tonya Drayton of Chattanooga; three grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter (Brenda) Maples, Gregory Maples both of Chattanooga, Anton Kerley of Huntsville, AL, David Kerley, and Anthony Kerley of California; niece, Dominique (Maxwell) August; nephews, D’Von (Quetta) Maples, Jeffery J. Bone, Walter D. Maples, Carl Maples, and Troy O. Maples; a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Larry High as the eulogist.
