Mr. Anthony Lebrone Cantrell's Obituary
Anthony Lebrone Cantrell, 61, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 in a local hospital. He was a 1977 graduate of City High School. He was a veteran with the United States Army. Anthony was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church and was employed by Shaw Industries as a Machine Operator. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ella Mattie Cantrell, Jr.; grandparents, Luther and Jessie Hicks, Nathaniel and Louise Bowerman; sister, Cynthia Cantrell-Williams; and grandson, Gabriel Laurence Sovago-Royal. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Alberta Cantrell; daughters, Pamela (Anthony) Sheats, Toni Cantrell, and Amanda Sovago-Royal, all of Chattanooga; brothers, Curtis Cantrell of Atlanta, GA and Alfred Cantrell of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends. Anthony will lie-in-state on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel with Brother Jimmie Ingram as eulogist. Burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
