Annie Lois Starr's Obituary
Annie Lois Starr, 91, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at her residence. She was a 1947 graduate of Howard High School. She retired after 37 years as a Social Worker with Erlanger Hospital. Upon retirement, she continued to work part-time as a security guard at the Chattanooga Airport until 2002. Lois was preceded in death by her son, Ira Starr, Sr.; and parents, Luther “Pop” and Lillie Starr. Survivors include her daughter-in-love, Barbara Starr of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Brown and Ira Muhammad, both of Knoxville, TN; great-grandchildren, Dominique Starr, Jasiah Brown, Jadus Brown, all of Knoxville, and Jabril Muhammad of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends.
