Ms. Annie Louise Moore's Obituary
Annie Louise Moore, 73, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at her daughter’s residence in Huntsville, Alabama. She confessed Christ at 11 years old at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and later became a member of the at Trumpet in Zion Fellowship in Huntsville, Alabama. She attended Drake Technical College where she earned her IBM Key Puncher Certification. Annie was a caregiver for Orange Grove for 8 years. She was a member of New Life Seventh-day Adventist Church for 23 years, where she served as the head of the Prayer Line. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Moore; son, Jeffery Ford; parents, Charlie and Betty, Moore, Sr.; brother, Harold Moore; brother and sister-in-law; Robert and Mary Rodgers; and children’s father, Charlie Ford, Sr. Survivors include her sons, Charlie (Melinda) Ford, Jr. and David Ford, both of Huntsville; daughters, Sherrilyn Moore of Chattanooga, Rosie (Marvin) Erskin, and Sylvia (Clyde) Jacobs, both of Huntsville; 55 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Coy (Carleen) Moore of Huntsville, Paul (Arlene) Moore of North Augusta, SC, Dayrel (Juliet) Moore of Chattanooga, and Chester (Joann) Rodgers; sister, Francis Davis of Chattanooga; best friend, Doctor Ada Hammonds; a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 6-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 12 noon at New Life Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Aaron Mills as the eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
