Annette Davis' Obituary
Annette Davis, 59, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, in Watertown, New York. She was born November 27, 1965, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late Mose and Lola Davis.
Annette was preceded in death by her father, Mose Davis; mother, Lola Davis; sisters, Brenda Ellis and Viola Garth; brother, Joe Johnson; and grandparents, Charlie and Elizabeth Johnson.
Cherishing her memories include her husband of 37 years, Eric Hunter; son, Gene Renard Davis of Tennessee; daughters, Sheba Davis, Tawanna Wilson, both of Tennessee, and Treva Davis of Texas; stepdaughter, Latesia Hunter of Atlanta, GA; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Randall (Mattie) Davis and Anthony (Janette) Davis of Tennessee; father-in-law, Doyle Hunter; mother-in-law, Linda Hunter; sisters, Pauline (Charles) McGraw, Deborah (Johnny) White, Stephanie (Devosta) Leverett, and Terria Davis ,all of Chattanooga; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Annette will lie-in-state on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the Chapel with Dr. Bobby Hampton as the Eulogist. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
