Annette Catchings' Obituary
Annette Catchings, 60, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024, in a local healthcare facility. She was a 1982 graduate of Silver Creek High School in San Jose, California. Annette was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Anna Catchings; uncle, James P. Catchings; and aunts, Willie Mae Powe and Ernestine Seay.
Survivors include her mother, Lee Anna Catchings Hawkings of Chattanooga; brother, Antonio (Maricela) High of Santa Clara, CA; sisters, Stephanie (Ronald) of Cypress, TX and Dr. Leha Hawkins of Sacramento, CA; uncle, Robert (Mary Ann) Catchings; aunt, Janette Catchings Richie of Chattanooga; nephews, Miles Ollison and Dmitri High; nieces, Malaya Ollison and Camille Ollison; cousins, Duke Peterson, Tracy Gibson, Robert Catchings, Jr., LaTanya C. Alverson, and Ronald Wigfall; devoted friend, Eloise Merritt; several other cousins; relatives and friends. A Memorial Service for Annette will be Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor David Young, Jr. as the Eulogist.
