Anita Rochelle Miller Love Banks' Obituary
Anita Rochelle Miller Love Banks, 45, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 in a local hospital. She played in the band at Brainerd High School and graduated in 1993. She also played in the UTC band while receiving her bachelor’s degree as a graphic designer. Anita was a member of St. Paul AME Church. She was a volunteer and advocate for Cosplay, LGBTQ, and Chattaoine Communities. She was crowned Chattanooga’s first black female for the Rose of Hope PEARL. She was preceded in death by her son, Clifford Banks, III. Survivors include her husband of 8 years, Clifford Banks, Jr., parents, Anthony and Sandra Miller, Sr. of Chattanooga; mother-in-law, Ruby Banks Turner of Atlanta, GA; brother, Anthony Miller, Jr. of Chattanooga; brothers-in-law, Nick (Shalaina) Banks and Reverend Kenneth (Donna) Love; sister-in-law, Tracia Miller; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Dr. Pedro Basden will be officiating and Dr. Kenneth Love will be serving as the eulogist.
