Angela DeCarroll Williams' Obituary
Angela DeCarroll Williams, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, gained her wings on October 3rd, 2024, at the age of 63. She was a God-fearing woman and gave her life to Christ at the age of 12 years old. Angela, affectionately known as “BB” to some, “Mama” to so many, and “MeMa” to her grandchildren, touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her warm hugs and soft kisses, always offering love and support to those around her. She had a special gift of making everyone feel special and like one of BB’s kids. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Erma Jean Gather and George Williams; grandchild, Jordan Chapman; and brother, Charles (Porky) Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory the love of her life of 17 years, Steve Benford; children, Howard (Eboni) Evans, Leonard (Charde) Williams, Tiffeny (Thomas) Smith, and Carla (John Brown) Williams; grandchildren, Justise Evans, Jasmine Evans, Jada Evans, Jordan Evans, Journi Evans, Jai'Lei Evans, DeKobe Williams, Jordan Williams, Angelica Williams, Hendrix Williams, Halo Williams, Ezekiel Horn, Rachel Smith, Savannah Smith, John Brown, III, Jayden Brown, and Quality Brown; great-grandchild, Nova Williams; brothers, Randy Williams and George Williams; sisters, Heather (Gerald) Putman and Juna (Eric) Hubbard; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Angela will lie-in-state on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel, with Dr. E. Jonathan Thomas of World Restoration Center as Eulogist.
