Angela Johnson's Obituary
Angela Hunt Johnson, 62, formerly of Chattanooga and currently residing in Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of Stoney Point Church. Angela loved her husband, kids, family, cooking and playing softball. She always had a smile on her face. Angela was preceded in death by her father, Armer Hunt, Sr.; daughter, Keisha Hunt; sister, Arlene Ammons; and grandparents, Willie and Regust Yelder and Dessie Mae Parker. Survivors include her husband, Vincent Johnson; sons, Timothy Rivers and Corey Rivers, both of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Jazlyen Rivers, Josh Dill, Jordan Dill, Caybree Uffer, and Kelby Uffer; mother, Willie Mae Tisdale of Birmingham, AL; brothers, Don (Alma) Hunt, Jr., Victor Hunt, and Patrick Hunt, all of Chattanooga; brothers-in-law, Reginald Johnson, Richard Johnson, and Jerome (Frances) Favors; sisters, Elaine Smith and Denise (Tyrone) Wilkerson, both of Chattanooga; sisters-in-law, Gwen Jackson and Brenda Smith; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor James Westmoreland will serve as the eulogist.
