Angela Ervin's Obituary
Angela Sue Ervin, 68, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at her home in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born on October 19, 1957, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Franklin Albor Jones and Ruthie Mae Daniels Jones.
Angela graduated from Brainerd Senior High School with the class of 1975. While living in Chattanooga, she was a faithful member at New St. Mary’s Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James Jones. After relocating to Knoxville, Tennessee, she became a dedicated member of the Church of Nazarene, under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Walls.
Angela was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Ervin; parents, Franklin and Ruthie Jones; sisters, Betty Paris, Faye Spralling, Shirley Turner, and Zenobia Johnson; and brother, Lamar Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memories her sister, Cynthia (Henry) Evans; brothers, Pastor James (Dorothy) Jones and Kenneth Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other family and friends; and her loyal pet companion, Q.

Angela will lie-in-state on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Ronald Cook Sr. as the officiant and Pastor Kenneth Walls as the Eulogist.
