Andrew McKinney's Obituary
Andrew McKinney, 66, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 in a local hospital. He was a 1972 graduate of North Panola High School. He was an Elder at New Holy Temple Cathedral C.O.G.I.C., where he served as the Superintendent of Sunday School and the Outreach Ministry. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Green and Berniece McKinney; brother, Donald McKinney; and sister, Diane McKinney Milam. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary Wilson McKinney; sons, Micah McKinney, Titus McKinney, both of Chattanooga, and Devlon McKinney of Leland, GA; grandchildren, Micayla McKinney and Dakota McKinney; goddaughters, T. Elleyonna Bell, Tyrah and Nayaeli Bryson; brothers, John (Essie) McKinney of Batesville, MS, James (Patricia) McKinney of Como, MS, and Larry (Joyce) McKinney of Sardis, MS; sisters, Helen McKinney Pratcher, Deborah Perry, and Lesia Smith, all of Memphis, TN; 5 uncles; 5 aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends. Bishop James M. Scott, Sr. and Supt. Lebron Hawkins will be the eulogists.
