Alvin Lee Ramsey's Obituary
Alvin Lee Ramsey, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 in a local healthcare facility. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was educated in the Chattanooga Public School System. Alvin retired from Buffalo China (Oneida) after many years of service. He was a member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Katie Ramsey; siblings, James Erma and Jackie Reeves; son-in-law, Kenneth Fifer; sister-in-law, Josephine Stoney; and precious dog, Bella. Survivors include his former wife, Charmayne Ramsey; sons, Fredrick Ramsey, Christopher (Lucrecia) Ramsey, Sr., both of Chattanooga, and Mark (Traci) Ramsey of Plano, TX; daughters, Reginia (Isaac) Hamilton and Rhomonda Fifer, both of Chattanooga; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother and best friend, Kenneth Robinson of Chattanooga; sisters, Eyvonne Ramsey and Wanda Ramsey, both of Virginia Beach, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Anthony Williams will serve as the eulogist.
