Alice Johnson's Obituary
Alice Faye Johnson, 70, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, in a local hospital. She was a 1970 graduate of Howard High School of Academics. She was a member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and later attended Olivet Baptist Church. Alice was preceded in death by her 3 brothers, Clarence Hughes, George Hughes, and Elmer Hughes, Jr.; sister, Frances Mohead Hughes; father, Elmer Hughes, Sr.; mother, Josephine Hamilton Hughes; and son, Larry Johnson, Jr. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Larry Johnson, Sr.; daughters, Tiffani Johnson and Ebony Johnson, all of Chattanooga; 2 grandchildren, Talia Sanford and Tyler Campbell; sister, Violet Jones of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Ronald B. Cook, Sr. will be the eulogist.
