Albert L. Simmons' Obituary
Albert Lee Simmons, 69, of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in the Hospice Care Center. He was a 1969 graduate of Tyner High School. He retired from Mueller Foundry after many years of service. He was a member of Pilgrim Rock Baptist Church. Albert was preceded in death by his mother, Paralee Holloway; and brothers, Bruce Holloway and Alton Holloway. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Lois Simmons; sons, Albert Simmons and Allen Simmons; daughters, Tawana Simmons, Sabrina Simmons, and Regina Simmons, all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Alexander Simmons, Ellington Love, and Lauren Simmons; brothers, Harold Holloway, Dwight Holloway, Phillip Holloway, all of Chattanooga and Tyrone Holloway of Georgia; sisters, Maxine Holloway, Martha Holloway, and Estherine Davis, all of Chattanooga; sisters-in-law, Betty Smith and Brenda Smith, both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. We would like to say “thank you” especially to the staff at the East Ridge Dialysis Clinic.
