Abron Al Henderson's Obituary
Abron Al Henderson (Coach), 77, formerly of Chattanooga, departed this life on Friday, October 10, 2025. Coach Henderson was a long-time educator and coach of football, track, and wrestling with the Georgia Fulton County School System. He was a dedicated advocate for the youth.
Coach Henderson is survived by his daughter, Lakeysha Henderson-Tucker; granddaughter, Jasmine (Aleph) Kennedy; great-grandson, Rory Kennedy; brother, Oscar Page; sisters, Phyllis Allgood and Tina (Larry) Smith; bonus children, Russel (Glenikka) Cuberson and Shonda M. Cuberson; 5 bonus grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He will lie-in-state on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Family Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.– 12:00 noon. The life of Coach Henderson will be celebrated at 12 noon in the Chapel with Pastor Gerald Penn officiating. Burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
