London Dews, 21, of Chattanooga, departed this life on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 to be eternally with the Lord. He was born on April 17, 2000, to Rickey and LaRita Dews in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He attended Howard High School. From elementary to high school London was into sports. He attended Y-Cap where he boxed and won every match. He was employed by TNM Network Manufacturing at Volkswagen. London was a leader, he had a heart of a lion and loved life itself. London was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Eva Banks Smith and Peggy Dews; grandfather, Alden Jackson. He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Rickey Dews, Sr.; mother, LaRita Dews; nine loving siblings, Lauren Banks, Kelley Crawford, Fern King, Rekesha Hyatt, L’Quan Dews, Rickey Dews, Jr., Rikitta Dews, Armond Dews, and Jeffery Dews; aunts, Stacey Banks, Nicole Evans, Carla Sims, Priscilla Dews, and Vicki Jackson; uncles, Nickey Banks, Ernest (Connie) Sims, Eddie Sims, Roderick (Gloria) Bashir, Rodney (Bessie) Jackson, Mark (Tiwiona) Jackson, Timothy (Stephanie) Dews, Clemet (Deborah) Bashir, and Jerome Dews; special niece, Te’Nhyia Davis; special nephews, Quantez Davis, Jr., Nickey Banks, Jr., and Nickel Banks; special cousins, Sadé Langford, Key’Ijah Owens, Kanique Langford, and True Stallion; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; devoted and faithful friends, RuQuez Harris, Kaddarius Coleman, and Marquell Pritchett; and many other friends.
