Hey Nick, ...being that I can't be there sitting next to Auntie reminiscing about your presence in our lives, I'll just have to sit down and tell you what I'm smiling about the most.....when I think of flowers, your presence reminds me of a fiddle leaf plant standing tall, thriving, smiling... from sunrise to sunset having conversations with the Sun....
I was about to light a candle and then I remembered those fly suits...Seams threaded with hands of fire.... Gifted....Hats to match...complimented for sure...who's walking thru the door...no introductions needed...It's just Nick....
Music Encyclopedia...no need for internet searches....you knew them all by name....
I recall sitting at Mom's dining room table....Ric was there.. I played this album.. ...A particular song was spinning...a remake of Donny Hathaway's, "Someday We'll All Be Free".....immediately you named the Album and the artist who was singing Donny's song...... It was like yesterday....very clear.... Nick being Nick..
So with that being said, I'll bring this to a close but not before I dedicate the 1st few lines of that song that was playing that day to you...Rest well Nick...we family...
