So sad right now because she was one of my many cousins I wanted to meet more than ever. Lil cousin just know you have an army behind you up there I promise. We love you down here and will be forever in our hearts -Shakayla Dews and Helen Jones

I'll miss you so much sister. Truly can't believe that this happened. Can't believe your gone or come to the terms of me not ever seeing your face again. I know we're not blood sisters, but you were always my sister. Sometimes I feel like you still here. Like your just at work or something. Remember when we stayed together we would stay up all night. Remember when you stole those Pringles. Lol we was just talking about that when we stayed up until 8 doing your hair. We went to the store and Destiny was with us and I let you drive. You was so excited to get you a car and your license. These pass few weeks before we lost you I felt so much happier to have my sisters around again. To just come and hang with y'all. Laughing with you Im gone miss that. That big smile when you was like "Hey Gworl". I'm so grateful that the last thing I said to you was I love you. Right before I tried to play you about not being able to drive. You remember sis ? I'll love you forever and I'll never forget about you. Until I see you again love.

De’Asia was so different from other people I had met in my whole life.De’Asia cared about every single person who was in her life and encouraged other to chase their dreams, she was a hard worker and smart and listened to others and their problems and whenever someone was down she would ask if they were okay and needed a hug.De’Asia would change a room whenever she walked in with her smile and caring personality,De’Asia had a bright future ahead of her and she was so ready to graduate and go to college and she was so happy and I’m just so proud to have knew De’Asia and call her one of my bestie and may her memories live on with the lives she has touched.
De’Asia was a sweet, smart, and talented student. I had the honor of meeting her this year as I served as at East Ridge High. I will always remember her smile. -Mr. Thirkill
