Teresa McClendon

May 25, 1971 - June 7, 2022

Teresa Ann McClendon, 51, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. She owned and operated her own daycare called Harmony Child Care in Chattanooga. Teresa was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Mozella Sims-Johnson and Christine McClendon; mother, Barbara Jean Mitchell; and father, Roland McClendon, Sr. Survivors include her sons, Terrence (Hannah) Smith, JaMichael Smith, and Adrian (Constance) Smith; daughters, Jasmine Smith, Alicia Suggs, and Ashley Suggs, all of Chattanooga; 18 grandchildren, Haarmonie, Tru, Armani, Skyy, Terrence Jr., Jackson, Zion, Rylynn, Devonte, Javiah, A’Nautica, Cameron, Daysia, Cain, Ashten, Ashton-De’Angelo, Brooklyn, and Amariana; stepmother, Sharon McClendon; brother, Roland (Cheryl) McClendon, Jr.; sister, LaPorchia McClendon, all of Chattanooga; niece, Azaria Burks; a host of uncles; aunts; cousins; other relatives and friends. Elder G.M. Spotts will serve as the eulogist.
