Marie A. Hall

February 15, 1962 - February 1, 2022

Marie Antoinette Hall, 59, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in a local hospital. She was born on February 15, 1962 to Willie James Thomas and Annette Hall in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Marie graduated from Howard High School where she was a flag girl for the Howard High School Marching Band. Soon Marie met Cedric, who was her partner in life for almost 40 years. Marie loved animals, growing vegetables in her garden, playing cards, and listening to music. Marie connected to people through her laughter and jokes. She would often tell family and friends how much she loved them. Marie will always be remembered for her free-spirit, as she lived by the beat of her own drum. To know Marie was to love Marie, she had a radiant smile, and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ruth Thomas and Anna T. Smith; aunts, Betty Jean Smith and Verna Thomas; uncles, Roger Thomas and Clifford Robinson. Marie is survived by her significant other Cedric Eaton; loving mother, Annette Johnson; father, Willie James Thomas; brother, Allen Lamar Johnson, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Angela Hall of San Bernardino, CA and Tawanda (Jessie) McDonald of Nashville TN; other relatives and friends. Rev. Dr. Briana Corke will serve as the eulogist.
