Lakiesha Unique Allen, 43, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022, in the Hospice Care Center. She was a 1996 graduate of Tower’s High School in Atlanta, GA. Lakiesha was the assistant choir director for 10 years at Brainerd First Church of God. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Mrs. Edith McDaniel; grandmother, Mrs. Carolyn Douglas; grandfathers, Mr. Fletcher Armour and Mr. Billy Robert Kelly; and uncle, Mr. Kevin Tucker. Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Mr. Julius A. Allen; sons, Legend Douglas, Julius A. Allen, Jr.; god-daughter, London Tucker; father, Fletcher A. Douglas, III.; mother, Patricia Harris; mother-in-law, Miss Debra Allen; grandmother, Mrs. Georgeann Tucker Hooks; brothers, Antwon D. (Tamika) McDaniel, Tarance Douglas, Fletcher (Neesa) Douglas, and Micheal Douglas; sisters, Carolyn L. Douglas, Tamara A. (Chris) Martin, and Toni H. Douglas; sisters-in-law, Lekeya and Latoya Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Kevin Russell will serve as the eulogist.
