To the Family of the Late Mrs. Elizabeth Steger,
Grace and peace to you in this time of loss. On behalf of Reeder Memorial Baptist Church, I want to extend our deepest condolences as we mourn the passing of a beloved woman of faith, Mrs. Elizabeth Steger.
Mrs. Steger was more than a member of our church—she was a presence, a pillar, and a quiet but steady source of love and encouragement. As the wife of our former pastor, she understood the weight of ministry, yet she carried it with grace. Even after her husband’s tenure ended, she remained committed to Reeder, continuing to worship, serve, and support our church family. Her faithfulness was unwavering, and her kindness left a lasting imprint on so many of us.
We know that in this past year, as she transitioned to Tennessee to be closer to family, her heart was still with us, just as our hearts remained with her. And though we grieve, we grieve as those who have hope—hope in the promises of God, hope in the resurrection, and hope in the day when we will see her again.
Please know that we are praying for your strength and comfort in these days. As a church, we will miss Mrs. Steger dearly, but we are grateful for the love, wisdom, and faith she shared with us. May you find peace in knowing that her legacy of faithfulness continues to bear fruit in the lives of those she touched.
With love and prayers,
Rev. Thomas R. Farrow, Jr.
Pastor, Reeder Memorial Baptist Church
